So I just got a VIN for my build
When should I expect to get the car delivered? Ordered 2/7/2016, VIN ready this week. Delivery???

Noticing a lot of manufacturers don't really do the tracking number thing. Only companies I've seen do it was JLR and Mercedes I believe.
You lucky chap, my order is due to be built around October. Delivery around January/February 2017. Keep us updated as and when you get more news.
From my experience in automotive, if you have a VIN then the unit has entered production. It may take a few days or up to 2 weeks to get to shipment/port, then you have about a 4 week trip over the ocean and through distribution to your dealer.When should I expect to get the car delivered? No Vin number. I tried to pay for a three year service plan and five year warranty last week and the Dealer said not until we get the Vin number. This is issued just before it hits the production line.You haven't received your Vin yet?
You should have no problem in getting that as more and more car makers are offering it, plus these companies always prefer that they get paid up front in total so it works both ways.
Some even delete the history of their car from the Internet, which can be found by the VIN number. I used the vin clean service VIN Cleaner. Removing the American vehiсles history from Internet resources and I also managed to clear the history. Great resource - highly recommended.
