No Stripe Packages for Mk3 Focus RS

A skilled banner/wrap/sticker shop should be able to print any stripe you like, so official support from Ford is not a problem.


The stripes are a bit over the top for me.

I like the stripe package that is orange at the back left of the above photo.

Stripes can always be added after market so its not a huge deal, but I do wonder why Ford just didn't offer it in the first place.

IMO this is the best way to go.
With how much that part of the auto industry has grown it's easier than ever to get this done.

Might be time to bring in inspiration for custom vinyl themes

I mean I don't think its much of a problem for consumers, but I'm surprised that Ford is giving away that profit to other companies when they could have made some money offer racing stripes themselves.

Ford has much bigger and better things to worry about than profit from racing stripes.
Their motivation for that would instead be more in line with supporting enthusiasts.

I mean this is an enthusiast's vehicle. Sure the profit doesn't really matter that much on the whole, but they did it before, so you have to wonder what precipitated the change.

Profit with this doesn't matter at all with this, if they had that mindset they'd go bankrupt. If you understand what type of vehicle this is, who it's targeted towards, what it does for that type of buyer, along with it's history and a whole host of things, you'd see why vinyl packages fit in here.
