Hi,

I owned a Focus ST3 in Hawaii - purchased used as a Ford certified preowned vehicle.
A year ago I moved to College Park, MD, near DC - and traded the ST in on a RS with 6K miles just last week!

I hope to connect with other RS owners in the area, for meetups / rides / and get help with "issues" like no spare tire and license plate bracket (for now). Possibly discuss performance parts to purchase...

Also I hope to find RS owners willing to meetup and do track days at Summit Point Raceway in west Virginia...

Not a big history with racing cars, but I raced and won motorcycle road races back in 2000 - 2003 with AFM Racing in northern California.

I guess the fastest/coolest car I ever had was a 1969 Z-28 lime green with black stripes and a 396 (6.5 L) V8 375 HP engine .

Welcome to our Forum, good to have you as a member. Please you have got your hands on an RS, are you pleased with it? When I test drove one before I put my order in I thought it was like atrain on rails around the corners. I am in the UK where the turning companies are just starting to make parts available, the number of companies is increasing rapidly now. Most of them have a wide knowledge of the earlier RS Focus models.

Did you just say you did 6k miles on your RS in one week? Btw, I understand where you are coming from with regards to the no spare tire. We definitely need to keep an eye on the tire pressure and watch the tread wear. As for the front license plate, I put on a product called sto-n-sho which goes under the front splitter. Another option is using the tow hook. You can look it up and find many different tow hook attachments for the license plate.

I hope you enjoy your RS. I wish we were closer because I am also trying to find some owners closer to me but I am not having any luck.
