Can you confirm you have a MY2017 on order and not a 16? Just curious as I havent heard that Ford was officially making them for 17 yet.

Either way, congrats!
Congrats on getting on the list. Did they give you a delivery date estimate?
Is there any difference between MY2016 and MY2017?
I would assume that's the model year (MY)? MY2017 for Focus RS built in 2017 and MY2016 for this year.
Not sure if Ford will be producing the Focus Rs in 2017 but I think they will be or else it'll be a really short production period for a new car.
I know about the build year difference but I wasn't referring to differences in the actual vehicle in terms of styling, new colors, etc...

I agree that it would make sense to manafacture them atleast another year, but realistically they shut down one of their factories just to make the RS for a short time, and unless they start pumping out a whole lot more RSs that factory is either going to stay closed to produce RSs a lot longer, or will have to be shut down again in the future. Although I know the demand is high, I wont mind if they only make them for 2016 as imo it will make the car that much more unique.
Well the segment is growing in competition and vehicles that come close enough to it, so that some more sign of other car makers projecting some good growth. I have a feeling Ford is just planning to go with the flow and act accordingly rather than have something set in stone right from the start, unless the market acts exactly how they predicted.
