Might be a good time to start shopping around for a different insurance provider.
I live in the southern part of the UK. All UK insurance companies load the price once you do any changes to the car. Even if you change the wheels from the standard ones, they think the car is more likely to be stolen. Basically Mountune = You can trust them, modify you're vehicle (once it's a Mountune-approved Ford Dealership) and still have warranty
What if you go with a small insurance company? In North America I know generally the smaller companies give you a break. Then there are other variables like credit rating, location, mileage, etc that factors in.I live in the southern part of the UK.
