Head Gasket Recall?

I am VERY new to this Forum, so pardon my ignorance in possibly posting to this location. Yesterday I received a letter from Ford stating that I need to bring in my vehicle for a (possible) new head gasket and/or NEW head! The car is a 2017 with 2300 miles on it (I picked it up in Oct.) I called the dealer and the service adviser stated that he was going to call me but they were starting one gasket replacement today for an earlier purchaser, and he wants to see "how it goes!" That did NOT give me a ton of confidence---not in the dealer: in the CAR! I DO hope that Ford hasn't done something ill advised with this great new model. My 1970s BMW's all had copper head gaskets (2002s) and I hope that maybe Ford will make an upgraded gasket. The letter explained that the gasket would "blow" into the combustion chamber from the water channels, not to the outside, and one would see white smoke and have their coolant levels go down quickly. So far, NOTHING like that has happened to me....yet!
I am guessing that I am not the only recipient of that letter. IS this something to worry about?

Note to forum members: My previous posts may have been posted under RSGrau, as I was too computer illiterate to re-register from my Fiesta ST Forum account. Thank Heavens the site management here are all experts, and I thank them profusely. If you know German, you can guess that I have a Stealth Gray RS!!!

just got my back from the dealer (2017 with 8190 miles) they replaced the head and the head gasket since it failed the pressure test. They did great. Car runs great... nothing to worry about as long as dealer does the repair and replacement correctly. They even added 12k and 12 more months onto my OEM Warranty

I got mines back today 5150 miles, I definitely feel less power now. I think they (dealer) secretly de-tuned my car at the instruction from Ford.
Will be awaiting my turn at the dealer in a few weeks--and I hope all goes well! I was wondering, has ANYBODY done some accurate Dyno pulls with a stock RS? I keep hearing rumors that the 350 hp is a "myth,' and that the car has been "overtuned." If even remotely true, I will attempt to change as little as possible--maybe a cat back exhaust and a Ford short-throw shifter plus the Mountune shift bracket on the tranny.
