Remember the Focus RX Rallycross that made a short appearance at the end of Gymkhana Eight? Well Ken Block has recently posted up teaser pictures and videos of the Focus RS RX rallycross on his Instagram page.
Ken Block's Hoonigan Racing Division got their hands on two factory spec 2016 Focus RS' and this one is sporting a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four engine. It’s good for 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque with a 0 to 100 Km/h time of less than 2 seconds. A few additional parts are added to make the Focus RX rallycross ready; a FIA-spec roll cage, bespoke widened body and underbody protection, 6-speed sequential gearbox, SLA-type suspension, Brembo 4-piston calipers, 17-inch WRX wheels paired with WRX spec AVON race tires, and a brand spanking new steering wheel with all the buttons.

What’s interesting is the seating position. Ken will be sitting in the center of the car instead of the front and no explanation has been posted from him but we can assume that it’s for weight balance.
Right now parts of the car is still covered like the headlights and a small part of the hood but we may see the Focus RS RX rallycross fully uncovered at the FIA World Rallycross event in Portugal from April 15-17.
