Not sure if anyone has seen this before but Ford has developed a nifty feature for those times when you accidentally open your door too wide and hit the parked car beside you.

Here you can see this black guard that pops out automatically when open up the Focus RS's door. It's actually quite long and the guard seems to be large enough to prevent your door from touching someone else's vehicle. Since it's not listed as an accessory on the build page, I can only assume that the feature comes standard.

No longer will you have to suffer a hideous external door guard with this retractable one.

Sweet, never seen that feature before. I dont believe it is listed on the website, hope it comes standard though! It should come in handy for those unexpected walmart visits or tight public parking spots!
