Just read on
insidercarnews.com that Ford may be looking into another version of the Focus RS.
According to Ford insiders, they won't be trying to squeeze in more horsepower but instead try to lighten the RS weight and improve it's power transfer. Ford could possibly
remove around 220 pounds but at the cost of cabin comfort and hit
0-100km/h in less than 4 seconds.
Not sure how much this would cost but they estimate it to be over $40,000 for this performance vehicle. Nothing concrete yet but if this rumor is true, we'll be hearing about it after the standard Focus RS has been out fora while.
I'd rather have the current Focus RS but I'm sure someone out there would want a higher performing car.
