The lowered stance looks good here. Often I think the lowered look just looks forced and non-practical, but this image makes it not look silly. Agreed that different wheels could be a good choice. Black looks way better. I mean, there is just no chrome anywhere else on the RS so it looks out of place. No continuity.

While lowered/stanced looks good, I rather reserve that to a vehicle that doesn't pack nearly as much potential as this does. Finding that medium of a nice wheel and tire setup that still allows for pushing the RS how it was meant to be is where it's really at #BecauseRaceCar

Ok so raise it an inch. Doesn't the lowers stance help aerodynamics? Or am I making that up? :S

I don't want the wheels to look like they don't fit in the wheel wells, but other than that I think it's great. you have to be able to make it over speed bumps too.

Meaty rubber, sure, but white lettering is a bit overboard for me. I will be going more for a track look, clean, but mean at the same time :D
White lettering could work. Personally, I wouldn't want to make things too busy (although you could). If you go with white lettering on the tires then you just can't make as much a statement with other parts of the car.

Stunning!
Wheels are perfect if you are going for that look. My setup will be slight different. wider/aggressive is the goal.

anyone know what the go is with suspension modification, obviously these cars have quite a superior factory suspension setup allowing for different adjustments through each map setting?
wonder if they are height adjustable?, or is there a kit which you can swap out for lower springs but keep the factory electric system.

Not my thing at all, but "Live and let live" isn't a bad credo to follow.

I imagine it would be difficult to get good suspension control with very limited vertical wheel travel, and the lower you go the less travel you have to manage bump absorption. Maybe adjustable air-bag suspension would allow adequate ride height when in motion, and lower it down for the desired look when stationary ? I'm not sure what all the std FoRS electronic brains (the ones that control torque vectoring etc) would think of such changes though.

The Focus RS is already quite powerful, but people are definitely going to modify it. Those modifications will void warranty in many cases. Which is fine as long as nothing goes wrong. Replacing parts in the Focus RS could be very, very expensive. I'd just be careful and cognisant of possible warranty issues.
