This may or may not be the final price but it seems like a URL error on Ford's end has shown people what the 2016 Focus RS's price may be.

Starting price around $35,730.

That's pretty good. Considering people were expecting around $40k, this is just about right. Once you add in some options then the price should edge up to $40 when you consider taxes as well.

Because it's lower than what most people estimated it to be, there's now a bit more leeway in the budget for a few extra options. Around $4k to play with before hitting your original estimated cost unless you want the basic model but if you were going to originally spend around $40k you may was well go for the $42,275 fully loaded RS.

I guess he just meant $35k for all of what comes standard without adding anything else, but yes by going with the RS we're getting a top spec model.
