Focus RS Accelerate On The Autobahn

The lucky few who lives near this no speed limit highway can legally open up the Focus Rs and that's what this driver did. A lot quieter than I thought it would be in the cabin but it must sound amazing on the outside.

From what I can see, he went up to 200km/h and more.

I would have liked to see him do this from a dead stop. But nonetheless, it was a good video. Those pops are quite loud, even in the cabin !

When it comes to running your buddies or random people on the highway or even the street, this does help to see how it would react from a rolling start. I have a feeling off the line we might get some traction issues, could take a few launches to find where it will stick all the way through.
Definitely, with these you'll have to slip the clutch to launch it from a dig. But my biggest concern is if we're able to brake boost it for the rolling runs. I know the newer vehicles have an electronic cut-off for that and they don't allow you to do it.
It's great that the RS is manual, you can make the car pop and bang easily like he did at the last bridge. Sounds so nice when he did that.
Love those pops and crackles ! Can you imagine straight piping one of these ?! The amount of pops and bangs would be insanity
also, notice how steady teh Rs is at high speeds? At one point, he just gripped the wheel by his fingertips and there weren't any jerky movements.

I think that is to be expected given what the wheelbase is like, weight and just knowing what the overall purpose for the RS was. If it was something compact like a Mini then maybe you'd have that feeling making you worry at those high speeds.
Actually, having driven a mini cooper before.. they really aren't that bad at high speeds. They're quite planted surprisingly :|

I just would want to hit anything cause I'm pretty sure it's game over at that point
