Darren Cassey from CarThrottle mounted a 360 camera in the Focus RS and he took it for a spin on the track while recording. We can view the video from the passenger seat and rotate around for a different view.
Cool experience seeing this all go down in 360 view.
He did make an interesting point about the RS getting a little tail happy even though its in sport mode, that might be a slight indication of those wanting a more stable time on the track to get stickier tires. Good for those time attack runs.
thought that would be more of a track mode problem since he says it loosens stuff a bit too much. What I would really like to see if this 360 camera in the car while the Rs is being drifted.
When it comes to drifting i'd also want to see an outside 360 degree view just to see how close it gets to the outside line and all the typical things people look out for when drifting. That will help in seeing the sort of control someone can have with it.
He was in track mode when the back was coming out instead of drift mode. Sport is more for street driving. I'm wondering is why they covered up the rear view with that red display.
