The reason I ask is because I know that SVT and Shelby vehicles are restricted to Ford performance dealers...Will Ford be pursuing a strategy similar, or will they allocate at least one to each dealer and allow order to come from any store?
I talked with the local salesman at the dealer, who said he believed any dealership should be able to order the Focus RS (although he'd get me the best deal ). He added that Focus RS production is not going to be limited. This will be a regularly available model like the Focus ST.
I'm thinking that there won't be a lot of these just in stock at all the dealers, but hopefully you'll be able to order it into any dealer that you may want.
Next day after the lunch in Germany I went to a Montreal Ford dealer and put a deposit on the RS. They didn't have more information than I had but they said that they should at least get one.
I thought I read on another thread that some dealerships were not going to be allotted any. Is that wrong, or can both these things be true at the same time?
