The reason I ask is because I know that SVT and Shelby vehicles are restricted to Ford performance dealers...Will Ford be pursuing a strategy similar, or will they allocate at least one to each dealer and allow order to come from any store?
I have to doubt they're going to just churn them out, unlimited on a built to order basis I can believe however...I talked with the local salesman at the dealer, who said he believed any dealership should be able to order the Focus RS (although he'd get me the best deal). He added that Focus RS production is not going to be limited. This will be a regularly available model like the Focus ST.
that would be a good start to having a stronger demand for future production runs of the RS, the start now might be slow but it'll at least help the RS get noticed as much as it canI have to doubt they're going to just churn them out, unlimited on a built to order basis I can believe however...
how much was the deposit you had to put down?Next day after the lunch in Germany I went to a Montreal Ford dealer and put a deposit on the RS. They didn't have more information than I had but they said that they should at least get one.

The build numbers are already likely to be firmly established, it's unlikely that they will build an unlimited quantity to order.I have to doubt they're going to just churn them out, unlimited on a built to order basis I can believe however...
