So much more expensive in Australia. Poor guys down there. Is that similar to other comparable vehicles also sold in Australia?
That's no so bad. That's about $36,000 USD. Now, if inflation on the AUD is high then I feel for the guys. I'm not sure how the economy is fairing there.
Australia holds a special place in my car-heart for their Fords and Holdens. I even bought two of their rebadged cars - a GTO and a G8, (Monaro and Commodore). ****, the whole car culture there seems to be amazing. I want to visit!

Yeah those Aussie's have some serious toys and finally we got a taste of that with the Chevy SS which what I think is a big step forward and guys seem to be digging it especially the G8 crowd.

I know they tend to make more money down under as well, so I hope that makes up for it. I wonder which countries have the highest vehicle prices when you consider average purchasing power as well.

Ford has just revealed the price of the Focus RS in Australia and it's lower than expected! Going for $50,990, it's $6000 less than the Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Edition. Originally it was speculated to land somewhere between $50,000 and $60,000 but the official price lands closer to the lower end of the spectrum. Gives the buyer a bit of leeway for additional goodies like the 19-inch forged alloy wheels with performance tires for $2500 or a prestige paint job for an extra $450.
