I was going to consider the Golf or Audi but now that their company apparently lies to everyone, I have decided I'm not buying anything they are selling. So that pretty much allows me to nail down the Ford Focus RS.

Most of the major automakers have done something shady in the past. After an uncertain amount of time they can build back their reputation (of course it seems that this only gives them cover to begin doing shady practices again). Ford hasn't done something too terrible that people have found about it in my recent memory. At this point its hard to trust any of them.

It's almost a thing where you have to take your chances and analyze it as well as you can. In most cases things turn out alright. seem to be a small percentage with situations like this.
