Famous for playing Joey on the hit sitcom Friends and now a presenter for Top Gear, actor Matt LeBlanc is now the proud owner of a Nitrous Blue Focus RS.
Taking delivery at South Bay Ford in Los Angeles, LeBlanc’s hot hatch is sporting a Hoonigan license plate frame and as we all know, those things are good for 3hp. His buddy, Ken Block the rally driver, has taken it upon himself to approve of Matt LeBlanc’s decision to go with a Focus RS.
"My buddy/current Top Gear host Matt LeBlanc has been able to drive some of the best cars in the world right now. So what did he choose as his daily driver? A new Ford Focus RS! I approve of his decision. And bonus points for the Hoonigan license plate frame!"
For a MSRP of $35,900, Matt got his hands on a drift machine with a 350 horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood. With 350 lb-ft of torque, the hot hatch is able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds and it has a top speed of 165 mph.
Even if you include destination and delivery charges, the Focus RS will barely dent the Top Gear host’s bank account.
If anything this guy is getting paid by Ford to have it. The marketing this does for them probably paid off by now and once people see it in action and on the street it's going to help keep up that momentum of interest going on. Taking it even bigger it introduces people to the Ford Performance line up.
